Well, it actually worked out really well that we took a wrong turn yesterday. We never would have ended up going through the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, both excellent opportunities for HDR (High Dynamic range) Photography. Not to mention the Meteor Crater, perfect for the fisheye lens (and HDR!)





Sometimes people tell Jim he looks like Nicholas Cage. Here you can see why.	Across from the Rock Shop	Ya' gotta love these places...

There REALLY is a No Tell Motel!	RAWR!	Not even in existence during Triassic.

Jim had been talking about this meteor crater since before we got to Arizona. We saw the signs and checked it out. AWESOME! This is a 180 degree fisheye view and doesn't even get the whole thing in. The meteor hit 50,000 years ago.
