Day Nine: Time to Hit the Road

Time to go home. We wanted to make it the 1201 miles in just two days and have a day off at home before going back to work--
(and to have some time to catch up on this website!)
Tucumcari: Best described as total ghost town on old Rt. 66.
Rt. 66 is actually kind of depressing. Used to be so vibrant...
You know it's bad when the pawn shops are out of business.

Welcome Home to 106 degree temperatures and storms that blew down two trees.
