Jack Cosenza's 1956 Oldsmobile was very different from most of the
Oldsmobiles at the National Antique Oldsmobile Club's Annual Meet in
Cincinnati. Just about everything was different. It is decked, lowered
and shaved. It sports a 454 cubic inch Chevrolet engine with roller
rockers and carb intake.
Amenities include a Pioneer stereo system with CD, along with Air
Conditioning by Hot Rod Air. The smoked glass compliments the bright
red and white exterior. Even the trunk is tricked out with padded "88"
symbols and original Oldsmobile literature. The seats are powered, the
front seat is a split bench and the back seat is the original roll and tuck
upholstery. It even has dice door locks.
Not surprisingly, Jack's '56 took Best in Class in the Modified category at
the National Meet. Jack has belonged to the NAOC for four years and is
member #672.
