Harold Sage Jr passed away at 85 years. Harold was the son of Harold Sage, Sr. who was an Oldsmobile dealer in Wilmington, IL, Sage Motors, from 1938-1953. He was a WWII veteran in the Europeon theater and spent alot of the war on a half track. Harold moved to southern California in the late 1950s and sold insurance for many years.

He was a true Olds guy and was our model year advisor for the 192 model year for many years. Harold was well known to Oldsmobile Club members in Southern California and had a few gatherings that he called Sage Motors at his retirement home and shop in Thousand Palms, CA. He was predeceased by his wife Katheren. I will miss my many visits to Harold's over the years and all the great conversations we had plus the rides all over Palm Springs in one of the best running 1950 Oldsmobile 88s.
