As you read this, the 2010 NAOC National Meet is now history. If past meets are any indicator, this meet will have proven to be a rewarding experience. Look for a full review in future Runabouts to Rockets.
As I prepare to make the 2100 mile journey to Lansing, there are several places that will be on my itinerary. First, the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, Indiana. It has been enlarged and occupies new headquarters. Then on to Auburn to the Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg Museum. The building itself is almost worth the trip.
At this year’s board meeting there are several very important agenda items that will be discussed and decided on. I will be bringing these to you in next month’s message.
Hope that your summer is going well and that you are enjoying getting out on the road with your Oldsmobile—it’s an opportunity to let others enjoy your piece of history. And, don’t forget to keep an eye out for new NAOC members.
