WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL ANTIQUE OLDSMOBILE CLUB WEBSITE We welcome Oldsmobiles from 1897 to 1978 In Memory of Jim Walkinshaw Oldsmobile lovers have lost a true friend and advocate with the passing of Jim Walkinshaw on May 5, 2013 in Lansing, Michigan. With Oldsmobile's First Lady, Helen Early, he authored several comprehensive histories of Oldsmobile. In Judy Badgley's words memoralizing Jim in the RTR July issue, "Jim was a friend to those who knew him and a friend to many who didn’t have that opportunity. He was always giving to others and through his actions many have been touched. He was a gentleman and will be greatly missed.
